Some responses to and reviews of the training videos from Bujinkan trainers all over the world.

"The thing about Arnaud's teaching that I find amazing is how he peels back the layers of each technique to search for its heart.
As with all arts, it is all about interpretation, and Arnaud never claims to be the only answer, but for those seeking a finely educated guide who can speak across international boundaries, he is a great choice.
If you have seen him at seminars you know what I am talking about. If you haven't, let me tell you that the amount of diligent work that has gone into this will impress you. I use the teaching techniques to teach my own classes and the rate of improvement of my students is dramatic.
I wish I had a resource like this when I started!"

"I have started Bujinkan as Arnaud's student, I only knew his way of teaching. Without comparison it seemed to be 'just' good. My perception changed when I "grew up", started to travel and train in many different dojos. I realized that systematic teaching of the basics was still a challenge for many teachers and the general knowledge of the Ten Chi Jin program was far to be complete. My appreciation went deeper and deeper for what I have received from Arnaud. Since I teach, I can only recommend his Memento program to any of my friends as I think this is the easiest and most effective way to cover and transmit the basics. Living now in Japan, I understand how Ten Chi Jin is important in order to understand what Sensei wants to pass on. I do not consider my basics to be good enough but what I have, I have from Arnaud's books and DVDs. Now luckily, they are mostly available in English as well :-)"

I'd like to say thank you for making the usb stick on Ten & Chi. I just started teaching and I benefit a lot from your work. I also like to give compliment on the way you bring Soke's teaching to a level where a shodan student like myself can applicate, appreciate and understand it.

Training Ninjutsu of late has been an exhausting ordeal not so much physically, but mentally. Each person has his own understanding and interpretation of Soke's teaching, but none have been able to explain it as well as Arnaud has. Especially to someone like me, who could merely scratch his head in confusion after attending a few Soke classes.

After the conclusion of the Buki Waza seminar in India, I told Arnaud how much better I thought he had gotten since the last visit, to which Arnaud replied saying it might be that my understanding has improved. That's what he aims to do. Make us understand Soke's teaching better.

It's practically impossible to remember even half, leave alone everything, of what is said or demonstrated during the seminars. Which is why these videos are such wonderful resources. Every time I watch them, I remember something new that was done during the seminar, but something I didn't notice the last time I trained. Only through constant practice and correcting our mistakes can we strengthen our basics and internalize the fundamental principles behind each technique. To achieve that, I find this site one of the best tools available.
